Billionaire Jared Isaacman and SpaceX technician Sarah Gillis ventured out of their spacecraft for a brief period, becoming the first civilians to conduct a commercial spacewalk. Previous astronauts who did so were employed by governments. The crew also conducted scientific experiments in space.
