palm beach - The man who was seen with a gun at former US President Donald Trump's golf course on Sunday did not fire any shots, the FBI reports. The man, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, was apprehended on a highway after fleeing. The Secret Service, responsible for Trump's security, noticed the gun barrel protruding from a thicket and opened fire. No one was injured.
The FBI did not find any evidence that Routh had accomplices in the incident. Routh has been charged with illegal possession of a weapon. In 2019, the FBI received a tip about Routh being in possession of a weapon, but the tipster was unable to provide concrete evidence when investigated by the authorities.
