Trump Holds Biden and Harris Responsible for Possible Assassination Attempt

washington - Former U.S. President Donald Trump accuses President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris of inciting violence against him.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump claims that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are to blame for people wanting to assassinate him. He points to the 'rhetoric' of the two Democrats, following an attack on his life in July and a possible assassination attempt on Sunday at his golf course.

The suspect from Sunday 'believed the words of Biden and Harris and acted upon them,' Trump said in an interview with Fox News. 'Their rhetoric is getting me shot, when I am the one who is going to save the country.' Ryan Wesley Routh was spotted by Trump's security in a thicket near the golf course where Trump was playing. The Secret Service fired at Routh, who was later apprehended. According to the FBI, he seemed to be planning to kill Trump.

Trump stated that Biden and Harris use 'very inflammatory language' and suggested that he is restraining himself. 'I can use that language too, much better even, but I don't.'.

Biden and Harris often refer to Trump as a 'threat to democracy', especially because he refused to accept the 2020 election results and spreads fake news. They both condemned the incident at the golf course and are 'relieved' that Trump is unharmed.
