washington - Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris called her Republican rival Donald Trump regarding a possible assassination attempt at his golf course. The White House stated that Harris expressed gratitude that he is safe.

The FBI reported that the man hiding in the bushes with a gun near the golf course was likely planning to kill Trump.

According to the former Republican president, he was influenced by the rhetoric of Harris and President Joe Biden, who have often called Trump a threat to democracy for spreading fake news and refusing to acknowledge the 2020 election results.

The White House considers these statements unjust. They stated, 'The president and the vice president have always strongly condemned violence in all forms. We have certainly never encouraged violence in any way.'

Biden also called Trump earlier to convey the same message as Harris. Trump described it as 'a very pleasant call.'
