Fatal Wildfires in Portugal: Firefighters Trapped and Killed by Flames

tábua/vila do mato - Three firefighters, one man and two women, lost their lives while battling wildfires in Portugal. So far, a total of seven people, including four firefighters and three civilians, have died in the fires, with approximately fifty others injured.

Portuguese firefighters, aided by an estimated 5000 personnel, are currently combating dozens of wildfires across the country, utilizing 1500 vehicles and 28 aircraft for aerial support. France and Spain have also sent firefighting planes to assist in the efforts.
