'Turkish government rejected file with PKK '

- The PKK did a few months ago to agree a cease-fire, but the Turkish government rejected the proposal down to do so. At least, the leader of the pro-Kurdish opposition party HDP Wednesday.

According HDP'er Selahattin Demirtas was there a few months back in touch with the PKK in an attempt to get the parties back to the negotiating table. But did not want to have the regime in Ankara.

In July last year came to an end with a file of 2.5 years between the Kurds and the Turkish government, resulting in a fierce, bloody battle in the southeast of the country, where many Kurds live.
