sydney - An Australian TV crew that was arrested in Lebanon for cooperation to abduct a child, is released after an agreement with the father. That Australian media reported Wednesday.
The four employees of the program 60 Minutes was in Beirut to capture how an Australian mother and a child aid organization repatriated a Lebanese father. The team was beaten in chains along with the mother because the father filed a charge of kidnapping.
After the transmitter Channel Nine's father had agreed a compensation of several tons, it abandoned the complaint against the TV crew to release it. The mother is released.
