Russia Reportedly Plans to Split Ukraine into Three Parts
amsterdam - Reports suggest that Russia is planning to divide Ukraine into three separate parts, with each part having different affiliations.
Russia is reportedly considering a plan to divide Ukraine into three parts: the eastern provinces and Crimea would join Russia, the western part would be divided between Poland, Hungary, and Romania, and the remaining areas around Kiev would become a Russian-dominated puppet state.
If implemented, this plan would effectively dissolve Ukraine as an independent state. The proposed Kiev-centered state would reject integration with Europe and the Euro-Atlantic power bloc (EU and NATO) and accept a permanent Russian military presence on its territory.
This plan is said to be part of Moscow's envisioned 'new world order' by the year 2045. The Ukrainian newspaper, The Kiev Independent, reported that a source in the Ukrainian intelligence service confirmed the existence of such a plan, although it could not independently verify it.
The document also outlines four possible scenarios for this new world order. Two of them would be favorable to Moscow, resulting in Russian victory in a war with Ukraine. This would lead to a 'multipolar world' where major powers, including Russia, establish their own spheres of influence.
In the scenarios where Russia does not emerge victorious, a military defeat in Ukraine is expected. One scenario predicts 'dominance of the West and the United States' as the end result, while the other suggests China as the sole remaining global power.
It has been evident for years that Moscow is seeking a new world order following Western sanctions. In recent years, the Kremlin has held international meetings involving President Xi Jinping of China to explore ways to dismantle the global financial system and diminish U.S. control over international transactions.
In October of this year, Putin hosted a conference of the BRIC countries, initially comprising Brazil, Russia, India, and China, which has now expanded to include numerous other nations. Discussions at the conference focused on an alternative world order and addressing the dominance of the U.S. dollar.
