tel aviv - Details emerge about a secret sabotage operation conducted by Mossad against Hezbollah operatives. The operation involved planting explosives in mobile phones disguised as harmless devices, resulting in casualties and widespread fear among Hezbollah members.

A recent sabotage operation against Hezbollah operatives has been revealed to have been conducted by Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency. The operation involved supplying explosive-laden mobile phones to Hezbollah members under the guise of normal devices, leading to casualties and chaos within the terrorist organization.

According to reports from the New York Times, the Israeli intelligence agency carried out the operation by providing mobile phones embedded with PETN explosives to Hezbollah members. The special devices looked identical to regular phones supplied by other vendors, aimed at avoiding suspicion.

The Mossad operation bears similarities to a famous rescue mission carried out by the Israeli intelligence agency in Sudan, where they set up a hotel to save Jewish-Ethiopian refugees. This operation was later adapted into the movie 'The Red Sea Diving Resort', featuring Dutch actor Michiel Huisman.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah inadvertently assisted Israel in the operation by distributing the explosive-laden devices to his operatives. Unaware of the true nature of the phones, Nasrallah provided thousands of them to Hezbollah members, fearing Israeli surveillance through mobile phones.

Israel's objective was to trigger the explosive devices at the onset of a major military operation. However, suspicions among some Hezbollah members forced them to take action earlier, resulting in casualties and injuries. The true extent of the casualties remains disputed, with Lebanese authorities reporting 32 deaths and nearly 3500 injuries.

Hezbollah operatives now face uncertainty regarding the safety of their communication devices, leading to paranoia within the organization. This uncertainty not only hampers their ability to coordinate retaliatory attacks but also impedes their ability to communicate securely.

Israel is preparing for potential retaliation from Hezbollah while simultaneously readying for a ground offensive in southern Lebanon. The Israeli Defense Minister has deployed an elite division to the border with Lebanon, comprising thousands of soldiers trained for deep incursions into enemy territory.

The situation is further complicated by the involvement of Iran, which has threatened retaliation for previous actions by Israel. Teheran's threats, coupled with ongoing tensions in the region, raise concerns about the possibility of a broader conflict involving Hezbollah, Israel, and Iran.
