Oil Tanker on Fire Off German Coast, Crew Rescued

kuhlungsborn - An explosion occurred on an oil tanker on the Baltic Sea off the coast of Germany, causing a fire. The tanker named Annika, carrying 640 tons of oil, had seven crew members who have been safely rescued.
Emergency services are currently trying to extinguish the 73-meter-long ship. Additional rescue workers are on their way to the burning ship with ships and helicopters.
The ship is located off the German coast near the towns of Kühlungsborn and Warnemünde. The black smoke emanating from the ship is visible from the coast.
