Woman Rescued by Police After Pretending to Order Pizza During Emergency Call

An American woman who was abducted by a man was able to alert the police by pretending to order a pizza. According to American media reports, the woman called the emergency services in Volusia County, Florida, on the American emergency number 911, but started the conversation by saying she wanted to order food. 'I would like to order a pizza. I am stuck here,' she said in an audio recording released by the authorities.
The phone operator asked the woman if she knew she was calling 911. 'Yes, I am sure I am calling that number. I am trying to get a pizza,' she replied. The operator then asked the woman if she knew where she was. 'No, not really, I am stuck here. I am not being taken back home,' she said. The woman then continued to pretend to order a pizza. 'Can I get a pizza? A pepperoni with extra cheese.'
The police were able to trace the woman's location to a field. There, they found a man 'on top of a screaming woman.' The suspect, Luis Diego Hernandez-Moncayo (27), was arrested for attempted sexual assault, strangulation, and kidnapping.
According to the woman, she had gone with the man to the field 'for a drink,' but Hernandez-Moncayo became violent and would not let her leave after using drugs.
