Two Judges Assassinated in Tehran
In a shocking incident, judges Mohammad Moghisseh and Ali Razini were shot dead in Tehran. The deceased judges were known for their involvement in cases related to national security, espionage, and terrorism. Moghisseh, 68, was previously sanctioned by the US and Europe for unfair trials and ignoring evidence. Razini, 71, had survived an assassination attempt in 1999.
The motive of the attacker remains unclear, as they were not linked to any cases under the jurisdiction of the high court.
