New Zealand Navy Ship Runs Aground on Reef and Sinks

wellington - A ship belonging to the New Zealand Navy ran aground on a reef off the coast of Samoa, caught fire, and sank. All 75 crew members have been rescued, according to the navy.
The HMNZS Manawanui hit a reef off the island of Upolu on Saturday evening (local time) while conducting reef research.
The crew was taken off the ship with life rafts and vessels and transported to Samoa. Some crew members sustained minor injuries, including from walking on the reef. The cause of the accident is still unclear.
