london - A 15-year legal dispute between two neighbors in London over a few centimeters of garden has finally been resolved. The conflict escalated into vandalism and verbal abuse.

A longstanding legal battle between two neighbors in London has come to an end after 15 years. What started as a dispute over a few centimeters of garden space escalated into vandalism and verbal abuse.

The judge, describing the case as 'indescribable folly,' has now ruled. One of the parties, Mrs. Tan, has been ordered to pay €180,000 in damages.

Fifteen years ago, Celia Tan, a translator, moved in next to Robert and Helena Flach. She quickly complained that rainwater from the Flachs' roof was flowing into her garden. She also claimed that the Flachs' teenage daughter deliberately made 'deafening racket' to annoy her. The Flachs, on the other hand, accused Tan of damaging their gutter.

Judge Alan Saggerson, as reported by The Times, had had enough of Tan, referring to her as 'malicious' and 'passive-aggressive.' He mentioned that she invents things to tarnish her neighbors' reputation. However, the Flachs were also not entirely faultless, as allowing their daughter to play drums in a bedroom for a few weeks was questionable.

Unfortunately for the Flachs, the case is not yet fully closed, as Celia Tan plans to appeal.
