texas - SpaceX has once again made history in space exploration by successfully catching a returning part of a rocket using giant arms shortly after launch.
On Sunday afternoon, October 13, just after two o'clock Dutch time, the 121-meter-long rocket took off from the launch base in Texas. The rocket consisted of two parts: the spacecraft Starship and the Super Heavy booster. Starship is intended to transport people and cargo to the moon and beyond in the future, as envisioned by CEO Elon Musk.
The 71-meter-tall Super Heavy booster propels Starship into space and features 33 engines. Minutes after the launch, Starship separated from the booster rocket. The lower part of the rocket then began its journey back to the launch platform in Texas.
