On the other hand, the Israeli military bombed the vicinity of the Cinta town near Baalbek in east Lebanon. The NNA news agency highlighted the ongoing violations of the ceasefire by the Israeli army as of November 27, 2024.
In a joint statement from the Prisoners and Liberated Persons Committee affiliated with the PLO and the Palestinian Prisoners Society, the testimonies of 23 Palestinians visited between January 6-8, 2025, at Negev Prison and Nafha Camp were presented. The statement detailed the abuse, mistreatment, hunger, medical neglect, severe beatings, and pressure experienced by Palestinians in Israeli prisons, with reports of scabies outbreaks among inmates.
