Toddler Rescued in Arizona Wilderness
A 2-year-old toddler, Boden Allen, went missing in the Arizona desert near Seligman. Over 40 rescuers searched through the night without success. The next morning, local farmer Scotty Dunton and his dog Buford found the child after an 11-kilometer trek in treacherous terrain.
Scotty Dunton recognized the toddler immediately and expressed relief that the child was found alive despite the harsh conditions. Boden mentioned sleeping under a tree during the ordeal. Dunton brought the child to his farm, where Boden drank water, ate cheese, and quickly recovered. The police safely reunited the toddler with his family and rewarded the dog with a steak for its heroic actions.
