Numerous rescue operations are reportedly underway. Nice Météo reported 94 millimeters of rain falling in the area within three hours.
In the municipality of Fréjus, close to Saint-Raphaël, residents of the Argens plain, an agricultural region, received an evacuation order, as stated by the local authorities on X.
