Theft of Golden Toilet
Blenheim Palace, a tourist attraction in Oxfordshire, England, and birthplace of Winston Churchill, had a gold toilet on display. The toilet, insured for millions, was stolen just two days after installation.
Prosecutors stated that on September 14, 2019, five men stole the toilet by breaking into the palace. They swiftly removed it from the wall and escaped within five minutes. The thieves are suspected to have sold the toilet in smaller parts.
