Ten people, including 61-year-old Brazilian businessman Luiz Claudio Galeazzi, lost their lives in a plane crash in southern Brazil. Galeazzi, who was piloting the small plane, was accompanied by his wife, three daughters, mother-in-law, sister, brother-in-law, and two other children. According to reports, the plane hit a chimney, a house, and a shop before crashing in a wooded area. The local authorities mentioned that 17 people on the ground were injured, with two in serious condition.
This tragic accident is not the first involving a member of Galeazzi's family. In January 2010, Galeazzi's mother was among the victims of a plane crash in Iperó, 125 kilometers from Sao Paulo. The pilot of the twin-engine plane also perished in that incident.
