A third victim, 66-year-old Victor Shaw, passed away trying to defend his home against the fire, with a garden hose still in his hand. Another victim, eighty-year-old Rodney Nickerson, was found in his burned home despite attempts by family and neighbors to convince him to evacuate.
Erliene Kelley, a retired pharmacy technician, also perished in the wildfires. The community mourns the loss of these individuals who were part of the Pasadena Altadena neighborhood for many years.
