strait of magellan, chilean patagonia - Venezuelan man recounts being swallowed and spat out by a whale during a kayak trip in Chile.

Close Encounter with a Whale

A Venezuelan man, Adrián Simancas, had a terrifying experience when he was swallowed by a humpback whale during a kayak trip in the Strait of Magellan, off the coast of Chilean Patagonia. Luckily, he was quickly ejected by the whale, and the entire incident was captured on video.

Simancas described feeling a slimy texture on his face as he found himself inside the whale's mouth. He initially thought he was being attacked by an orca or sea monster. Despite the initial fear, he managed to stay calm and think about survival strategies.

His father, who was with him on the kayak, filmed the moment as Simancas was engulfed by the whale and then spat out. The video of the incident went viral on the internet, showcasing the unbelievable encounter with the marine giant.
