The incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. at the Feather River Adventist School, a private Christian school with only 33 students, as reported by the local news station KCRA. The shooter, an adult man, reportedly had no affiliation with the school, the sheriff told reporters on the scene.
The two children were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds. The age, gender, and severity of the injuries have not been disclosed.
