The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement condemning the Khojaly Massacre that took place in Azerbaijan. On February 26, 1992, Armenian armed forces carried out a massacre in the city of Khojaly, targeting innocent civilians. The Ministry expressed condolences to the families of the 613 victims and all Azerbaijani people affected by the tragedy. They reiterated their condemnation of the atrocity and extended their sympathies to the Azerbaijani nation.
