istanbul - Turkish media accuses Israel of undermining Turkey's military power in Syria, warning against collaboration with Zionism.
Turkish Media's Accusations Against Israel
The pro-government Turkish newspaper claims Israel is working to limit Turkey's military presence in Syria. Allegations include Israeli efforts to prevent three Turkish military bases in Syria and gathering Turkish-speaking individuals for intelligence purposes.
Turkish President Erdogan, a Hamas ally, warns Israel during an iftar event, accusing them of fueling instability in Syria by supporting ethnic and religious divisions. Turkish newspaper Star also accuses Israel of using Kurds and Druze to weaken Syria and justify potential military intervention.
The relationship between Turkey and Israel has been strained, with Erdogan condemning Israel's actions in Gaza and imposing trade restrictions. Tensions escalated last year when Erdogan threatened military action over the Gaza conflict.
