Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan recently met with representatives of national and international media organizations to discuss the current agenda. During the meeting, Fidan highlighted Turkey's strong foreign policy and the multiple layers of scenario-based approaches in areas such as security, defense, energy, and healthcare.
Fidan stressed the importance of the security layer in Turkey's foreign policy, especially until regional stability is achieved. He particularly focused on the developments in Syria, noting the end of the bloody regime's atrocities and Turkey's commitment to the reconstruction and stabilization efforts in Syria.
The Foreign Minister emphasized Turkey's main focus in foreign policy on prosperity and peace, highlighting the decisive leadership of President Erdogan in promoting peace and stability in the region.
Regarding terrorism, Fidan declared that the end of the road had come for terrorist organizations, emphasizing Turkey's determination in combating terrorism effectively. He underlined that there is no religious or national distinction for terrorism, and Turkey is resolute in its goal of becoming terrorism-free.
In addition to Syria, Fidan evaluated Turkey's relationships with its neighbors, including the institutionalization of bilateral relations with Iraq through 27 agreements and the maintenance of positive momentum in relations with Greece based on good neighborly spirit.
The Palestinian issue was also highlighted as a top priority on Turkey's agenda, with Fidan expressing concern over the ongoing Israeli oppression in Palestine and reaffirming Turkey's support for the Palestinian cause through active engagement with international partners.
