US President Donald Trump has made a new statement regarding Gaza, stating that Palestinians will not be granted the right of return. Trump's Plan to 'Take Over' Gaza and Force Palestinians Out
During a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on February 4, Trump stated that the US will 'take over' the Gaza Strip and 'have it.' He emphasized that Gaza is now completely a zone of destruction and suggested that it would be much better for Palestinians in Gaza to go to newly built settlements in neighboring countries such as Egypt and Jordan.
Trump claimed that Palestinians have no other choice but to leave Gaza and also expressed his desire to 'turn Gaza into the Riviera of the Middle East.'
