President Trump's Hand Bruises from Firm Handshakes
President Trump has been meeting high-ranking officials from around the world at a rapid pace. French President Macron was the latest visitor on Monday.
During their meetings, there were vigorous handshakes between the two leaders, with observers noting the strength exerted by Macron causing Trump's hand to turn white at times. The handshakes appeared more like a wrestling match than a customary greeting.
The White House will provide an update on the health of the 78-year-old president in the coming days. This is not the first time Trump has been seen with bruises on his hand. Reporters from NBC noticed similar bruises in August and November last year. Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt previously suggested that the bruises could be a result of extensive handshaking, attributing it to Trump's 'dedication'.
