President Trump revealed his decision to impose additional tariffs on Chinese imports and maintain the tariffs on Mexico and Canada.
In a statement on Truth Social, Trump expressed concerns over the continued influx of drugs, particularly fentanyl, into the United States.
When asked about the progress made by Mexico and Canada in curbing fentanyl trafficking to the US, Trump stated, 'I don't see any at all.'
The new tariffs on Chinese imports add to the existing 10 percent tariff previously set by the administration.
