prague, czech republic - A trucker in Czech village chains and abuses a woman for three months, leaving her emaciated and shaved, before she escapes and seeks help.
Trucker's Horrific Crimes Uncovered
A trucker in a Czech village has been arrested for imprisoning and abusing a woman in a cellar for three months. The 27-year-old victim was chained, raped, and assaulted by the man.
The victim, who was severely malnourished and shaved bald by the man, managed to escape last week and sought help from neighbors in the village of Sirem at 3 AM.
According to local media reports, a neighbor described the victim as 'skin and bones', looking as if she had come out of a concentration camp, with a chain and a large lock around her neck.
The victim revealed that she was only given water and a bit of bread occasionally. She was chained to a heavy bed all day long. One night, when her captor was not home, she managed to partially free herself and escape.
Upon seeking help from a neighbor, the chain was removed, and the ambulance and police were called. The perpetrator, 40-year-old truck driver Karel N., has been apprehended. Despite being described as a 'very social man' by neighbors, more disturbing stories have emerged since his arrest.
Three years prior, he had lured an unemployed woman to his house in another location in the country. There, she was forced to wear a dog mask over her head, chained, electrocuted, assaulted, and abused. Karel N. received a three-year sentence but was temporarily released after a year on appeal, promising the court that he would not repeat his actions.
However, he was free to commit similar crimes in Sirem, where he now faces a potential twelve-year prison sentence. Czech media have drawn parallels between this case and the infamous Josef Fritzl case, where a man imprisoned and repeatedly assaulted his daughter for 24 years.
