As a consequence, the traffic lights in Vilshofen have been out for 5 days. The situation has led to five collisions and eight injuries, according to Bild. The mice are also nibbling on the cables.

The police blame the motorists for the collisions, stating that they are not following the right-of-way rules at the complex intersection. However, there is hope as the traffic lights are expected to be operational again from today.
