Arrests Made in Almere Explosion Case
In the case of the explosions at a home on John Raedeckerstraat in Almere, the police have arrested three minor suspects
Two of the arrests took place later. One of the suspects, a 16-year-old boy from Almere, will be presented to the examining magistrate on Friday. The other two suspects have been released, according to a spokesperson for the Public Prosecutor's Office. Their involvement in the explosions is still under investigation. The police do not rule out further arrests.
Starting from January 10, a safety risk area was declared in and around the street for ten days. During that period, a 34-year-old woman from Almere and a 44-year-old man with an unknown place of residence were arrested for possession of firearms within that area. That investigation is also ongoing.
