Tesla Cybertruck Explodes in Front of Trump Hotel Vegas: Driver Dead and Seven Injured
las vegas - A Tesla Cybertruck caught fire in front of the entrance of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, resulting in one fatality and seven injuries.
A Tesla Cybertruck caught fire on Wednesday in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. The incident was captured on video and widely shared on social media, showing large orange flames coming from the vehicle parked right in front of the hotel's revolving doors. The police in Las Vegas stated, "We are investigating a car fire at the entrance of Trump Towers. The fire has been extinguished. Please stay away from the area."
An eyewitness reported, "My husband and I were at the hotel's baggage area when we saw the car driving by. Suddenly, we heard a loud bang. Initially, it sounded like fireworks, but then I thought it might be a bomb and decided to run away."
Eric Trump, the son of Donald Trump, confirmed the fire on social media. He emphasized that the safety of guests is their top priority and thanked the fire department and police for their swift and professional response.
The incident is particularly noteworthy due to the close relationship between Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, and the incoming president Donald Trump. The two men have been spending more time together in recent months, with Musk expressing his support for Trump on various occasions. They even dined together on New Year's Eve at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Trump reportedly wants Musk to lead a "Ministry of Government Efficiency" to ensure the government operates more efficiently and economically.
NBC News reported in late December that 'Washington insiders' are concerned about Musk's influential role, pointing out his business interests not only in the US but also in China, Tesla's key rival. This raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest in future foreign policies, according to an anonymous former US intelligence official.
