grove, oklahoma - A sixteen-year-old boy was discovered in a self-built fort of toilet paper in a local supermarket after being reported missing in Grove, Oklahoma.
Teenager Found Safe After Intense Search
Christopher Dunham, reported missing by his grandparents, was found in a self-made toilet paper fort in a local supermarket. The teenager had spent nights in a nearby park and in a Walmart store, constructing a sleeping area out of toilet paper in a dog bed.
Police Chief Mark Morris described this as one of the most bizarre missing person cases in his career. Dunham's grandparents were uncooperative during the search, initially denying access to their home despite a search warrant. Concerns were raised by neighbors about Dunham's well-being, citing instances of extreme heat exposure and being locked outside in the rain and cold.
Dunham, examined post-disappearance, showed signs of mild frostbite on his toes. Authorities are investigating whether this is related to his disappearance or a previous incident.
