Syrian General Security Directorate destroyed drugs seized in the intelligence headquarters of the toppled Baath regime in Damascus. The drugs were taken to an open area in trucks and stacked in a pit at the 4th Division headquarters.
The General Security Directorate personnel in the region incinerated 1 ton of drugs.
Head of the Anti-Drug Department of the General Security Directorate, Anver Abdulhay, stated that drugs seized in intelligence buildings affiliated with the toppled regime were destroyed under the supervision of the Ministries of Health and Justice.
Abdulhay mentioned the presence of drugs like Captagon and Tramadol among the seized substances and emphasized the unwavering determination to continue the fight against drugs.
