valencia - Spanish King Felipe and Queen Letizia have arrived in Valencia to attend a mass in memory of the victims of the floods in the region.

Spanish King Felipe and Queen Letizia arrived in Valencia on Monday evening to attend a mass for the victims of the recent floods in the region. The mass, held at the Cathedral of Valencia, was led by Archbishop Enrique Benavent.

Authorities reported that in late October, 230 people lost their lives due to the floods in Spain, with 222 of them in the Valencia region. Four people are still missing.

The Spanish royal palace shared photos of the King and Queen's arrival at the cathedral on Monday evening, showing them receiving applause upon entry.

Felipe and Letizia made several visits to the affected region in early November. During their first visit, the royal couple faced insults and mud-throwing, though this was also directed at Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. They were warmly welcomed during their second visit.
