Snow, snowstorms, rain, and freezing rain along with strong winds reaching up to approximately 65 kilometers per hour are expected to affect a wide area, leading to traffic disruptions and power outages in many regions.
In some areas of the US, primarily in the central regions, snow depth is expected to reach up to a meter, and caution is advised against frost due to temperatures dropping below zero.
The Storm Prediction Center warns of a 3 to 5 level severe storm threat for some areas of Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi tomorrow, while a state of emergency has been declared in Virginia as a storm expected to affect the entire state starting tomorrow.
Furthermore, NOAA warns that rain and storms could lead to floods, especially in the Southeast.
In addition, the weather forecast indicates that from Tuesday onwards, the eastern US will experience a cold wave that will be at least 30 degrees below the seasonal norms.
