Saudi Arabia to Host Gaza Summit with 4 Countries
An upcoming summit in Riyadh will address US President Trump's controversial Gaza plan. Leaders from Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, and the UAE will convene ahead of the Arab League meeting in Cairo on February 27.
The summit is expected to focus on establishing a restructuring fund led by Gulf countries and potentially sidelining Hamas. Trump had previously suggested that the US would take control of the Gaza Strip, proposing relocation of Palestinians to newly built settlements in neighboring countries like Egypt and Jordan. The Arab world, however, is resistant to Trump's relocation plan.
