Russia Proposes Minsk as Venue for Peace Talks
Russia, led by President Vladimir Putin, has announced the completion of the process of granting Russian citizenship passports to the residents of Lugansk, Donetsk, Herson, and Zaporojye regions by the end of 2024. Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Minsk, the capital of Belarus, would be the most suitable location for possible peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in the future. Meanwhile, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev from the hawkish faction rejected the Anglo-French proposal and expressed their intention to continue targeting and destroying objectives in Ukraine without providing breathing space for the Kiev regime.
