raleigh - Republican candidate for the governorship of North Carolina, Mark Robinson, has filed a lawsuit against CNN demanding $50 million in damages over a report claiming he called himself a 'black nazi' on a porn site over ten years ago.
Mark Robinson, the African American lieutenant governor of North Carolina, has taken legal action against CNN for a report that falsely attributed sexual, obscene, and offensive posts on a porn site to him under the alias 'minisoldr'. Robinson denies making the comments and alleges that the CNN report was a malicious attempt to sabotage his chances in the upcoming gubernatorial elections on November 5 in which he is running against Democrat Josh Stein, the state's attorney general. The controversial remarks supposedly made by Robinson in 2010 expressed support for slavery, which he vehemently denies.
