Real Madrid has taken the unusual step of initiating contract renewal discussions with Vinícius Júnior earlier than usual. The Brazilian forward's current contract with the club is set to expire in June 2027. Typically, Real Madrid begins contract negotiations with key players when they have two years left on their contracts.
