Rare Planetary Alignment
For a brief period, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Venus, Neptune, Mercury, and Saturn can be observed simultaneously in the evening sky. This phenomenon, known as a 'planetary alignment,' occurs when the planets form a specific alignment. Experts recommend observing the sky right after sunset on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to get the best view. While Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars can be seen with the naked eye, Saturn may be harder to spot near the horizon. Observers interested in viewing Uranus and Neptune will require a telescope. Venus and Jupiter, due to their brightness, are among the easiest planets to notice, while Mars stands out with its distinct reddish hue. To observe the planets optimally, it is advised to go to a location with minimal light pollution and a clear view of the horizon. Scientists suggest allowing at least half an hour for the eyes to adjust to the darkness and avoiding looking at phone screens.
