Key Development in Louise Murder Case
The main suspect in the murder of 11-year-old Louise, who was found dead in a forest near the French town of Épinay-sur-Orge over the weekend, reportedly has cuts on his fingers, as revealed by Le Figaro this morning.
The 23-year-old man is said to have a history of violence and theft, but no connections to drug trafficking. Investigations indicate that the man owns a down jacket matching the one seen in CCTV footage, although the jacket was not found during the search of his residence.
Three individuals from the suspect's circle were arrested and detained on Monday evening. On Tuesday morning, Grégoire Dulin, the public prosecutor in Evry, announced that the three persons are 'part of the entourage of the main suspect' who was taken into custody on Monday evening for 'murder of a minor under 15 years old.' Currently, a total of four individuals are in custody.
The new detainees include the 48-year-old mother of the prime suspect, his 49-year-old father, and his 23-year-old girlfriend. The trio was detained just before 2 am for 'failing to report a crime.'
In recent days, there have been a series of wrongful arrests. On Monday afternoon, another 23-year-old man, along with his 55-year-old mother, was arrested in Rouen but later released. Two days prior, on Saturday, another 23-year-old man and his 20-year-old companion were also arrested but subsequently released.
