nottingham, uk - Plastic surgeon tries to kill colleague by setting him on fire in a bizarre case at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Plastic Surgeon's Attack

A 61-year-old plastic surgeon, Peter Brooks, attempted to kill a colleague who testified against him. Armed with a crowbar, gasoline, and a knife, he broke into Graeme Perks' house, poured gasoline, and set him on fire.

Severe Injuries

Perks suffered serious injuries, requiring three surgeries to recover from the attack. The assault damaged his liver and pancreas.

Legal Proceedings

Brooks denies the charges, despite substantial evidence linking him to the crime. The trial is expected to last for three more months.
