Pentagon Denies Involvement in Mysterious Drones Sightings in the US

Pentagon spokesperson General Pat Ryder assured the public that the Department has thoroughly investigated all cases of drones flying near or over US military locations. The American public has nothing to worry about, according to Ryder's conclusion. 'Is it possible that some of them are surveilling? Absolutely. But can you make that assumption in every case? Certainly not.'
On Monday, White House National Security Advisor John Kirby also stated that there is no cause for concern regarding the drone flights, which he described as 'completely legal and legitimate.' Incoming US President Donald Trump had previously expressed that he believes the US government is not transparent about the drones and is 'keeping Americans in suspense.'
The drones in question were seen by civilians in the state of New Jersey and later in New York. They were reported to be hovering above critical infrastructure such as water reservoirs, power lines, train stations, police stations, and military installations, leading to numerous conspiracy theories.
'No anomalies have been identified, and there is no risk to public safety in New Jersey or other states in the northeast,' explained Kirby. He stated that the sightings raising concerns are 'a combination of commercial drones, hobbyists, law enforcement drones, manned aircraft, and even stars mistakenly reported as drones.'
