Panic on Board Ryanair Flight as Plane Circles Endlessly: 'Child Vomited on My Hand and Shirt'
turin, italy - Passengers aboard a Ryanair flight experienced panic as the plane continued to circle and face turbulence.
Aboard a Ryanair flight, passengers panicked as the aircraft continued to circle and encountered turbulence. Flight FR937 took off from Turin to Lamezia on Wednesday morning with a slight delay, but passengers quickly noticed something was wrong. The plane circled above the Italian city for about thirty minutes. Turbulence ensued, leading several passengers to feel unwell. 'Some became anxious, while others started crying or vomiting,' a passenger on board the plane told Italian media.
'The crew asked us to fasten our seat belts, but we had no bags to vomit in,' said Teresa Malagrinò, a 31-year-old passenger from Turin, to Giornale La Voce. 'Next to me were two girls and their mother. The youngest child vomited, right on my hand and shirt.'
Eventually, the 180 passengers were informed by the pilot via intercom that shortly after takeoff around 8 o'clock in the morning, communication between the aircraft and the control tower was suddenly lost. The journey could not continue for this reason, but the pilot was not allowed to independently decide to land the passenger plane. Therefore, he decided to circle until communication was restored.
After all the chaos, the aircraft returned to Turin airport. Around 11 o'clock, a new flight departed for Lamezia, but about twenty passengers decided to opt out. They were not up for a new adventure with Ryanair and chose to continue their journey in a different way.
