North Korea Claims Evidence of South Korean Drones in its Airspace
seoul - Kim Yo-jong, the influential sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, accuses South Korea of sending drones into their airspace, escalating tensions between the two countries.
Kim Yo-jong, the influential sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, has claimed there is "clear evidence" of South Korean military drones entering North Korean airspace. This comes after the North Korean regime stated that any South Korean drone intrusion would be seen as a "declaration of war". However, the South Korean military denies sending drones northward, suggesting that activists might be responsible for sending drones and balloons into North Korea. North Korea has criticized these flights for spreading "inflammatory rumors and nonsense", referring to propaganda leaflets allegedly distributed by the drones.
Tensions between the two Koreas are escalating once again. South Korea reported that North Koreans are sabotaging roads and railways leading south. With only a few border crossings between the two countries, which are technically still at war, the situation remains volatile.
