ankara - Nine individuals have been arrested in connection with the fire that claimed 76 lives at a ski resort hotel in Turkey.

Arrests Made in Connection with Ski Resort Hotel Fire

Turkey has arrested nine individuals in relation to the fire that resulted in 76 fatalities and dozens of injuries at a hotel in a ski resort in Western Turkey. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced this on Wednesday morning. Among the detainees is the hotel owner.

Yerlikaya also stated that the bodies of 45 victims have been handed over to their families. The forensic institution is still conducting DNA tests to identify the remaining bodies.

The fire took place at the Grand Kartal Hotel in the Kartalkaya ski resort in the Bolu Mountains.
