New Footage Emerges of Marc Dutroux Being Pelted in Nivelles Prison
nivelles, belgium - Recent footage emerged showing Belgian serial killer and rapist Marc Dutroux being pelted in Nivelles prison, where he is currently serving a life sentence.
The footage obtained by Sudinfo was captured during Dutroux's walk in the prison. It is unclear when the video was taken, but it is evident that Dutroux is not well-liked.
The purpose behind comments such as 'Use all the excuses you want, but they make no difference' by fellow inmates remains unknown. Another voice can be heard saying: 'If it's forbidden everywhere, it's not a valid excuse.'
Meanwhile, objects are thrown at him. Dutroux is seen with his back to the camera, facing the sun. Although it is not clear what exactly was thrown, his sweater appears to have been dirtied as a result.
Another video shows Dutroux's face as he is filmed inside a cell, expressing his views on what he perceives as corrupt media. 'All Belgian media are corrupt,' he states, chuckling at an inaudible joke. 'I will not talk to them.' The fellow prisoner filming replies: 'Courage, Marc.'
Dutroux has been in prison since 1996 and was sentenced to life in 2004. This is not the first time videos of him in prison have surfaced. He was arrested in '96 for the abduction and rape of six girls, only two of whom survived. He had previously been convicted for the abduction and rape of five girls in 1989. In 2004, he was also found guilty of murdering an acquaintance and raping three girls in Slovakia. Additionally, Dutroux committed an unknown number of rapes, mainly in Belgium, France, and Slovakia.
