maagdenburg - The mother of the 9-year-old André, who was killed in the attack in Maagdenburg, reacts on social media. The incident also claimed the lives of four women and injured around two hundred people.

The mother of André, who tragically lost his life in the Maagdenburg attack, expressed her grief on Facebook with a heartfelt message. She mentioned, 'My little teddy bear, fly around the world again.' She also added, 'André did nothing wrong. He was only nine years old. I don't understand. Now you are with grandpa and grandma in heaven. They missed you so much, just like we miss you now. You will continue to live in our hearts forever. I promise that.'

André is one of the five victims who died in the Christmas market attack in Maagdenburg. The incident occurred on Friday at 7:04 pm when a driver plowed into the crowd. The other four fatalities were women aged 45, 52, 67, and 75. Approximately two hundred people were injured.

The suspect, Taleb A., allegedly used the emergency lanes to drive through the Christmas market and hit people at high speed. The motive behind the attack is still unclear, but there are indications that Taleb A. acted out of dissatisfaction with the treatment of Saudi refugees in Germany. An arrest warrant has been issued for the 50-year-old man, who is currently in custody on charges of five counts of murder, attempted murder, and causing grievous bodily harm, as reported by the German police in Maagdenburg on Sunday morning.

Taleb A., who arrived in Germany from Saudi Arabia in 2006, resided in Bernburg, approximately 50 kilometers from Maagdenburg. He worked as a doctor in a psychiatric institution dealing with addicted criminals. While not considered an Islamist by authorities, he portrayed himself as a sharp critic of Islam. On social media, he was vocal about women's rights and critical of Saudi Arabia. However, his tone became more radical in recent times.
